Hi, I’m Aliya, your resident matcha-loving cat mom of four and hairstylist of 8+ years. I believe hair is more than just a style—it’s self-expression, confidence, and a little scheduled self-care that you actually look forward to. I help my clients achieve hair tailored to their needs and the confidence how to style and maintain it at home.
I specialize in custom color, curly + textured cuts, but most importantly, I create a space where you can feel relaxed, valued, and celebrated. Whether that means spilling the latest tea, chatting about fantasy audiobooks and horror films, or enjoying quiet “me time,” your appointment is about you. We all may be juggling work, relationships, the WORLD, human babies and/or fur babies and just trying to not DoorDash again tonight— navigating life and carving out space for self-care can be a challenge, but it's easier with some help and the occasional appointment reminder.
As a stylist and educator with Keune Haircosmetics, I’m consistently evolving my craft—traveling, teaching, and learning so I can bring the latest techniques (and the science behind them) back to my clients. I thrive on helping people embrace their look, explore their Pinterest goals, and care for their hair between appointments with confidence.
Outside the salon, you can usually find me sipping a Vietnamese cold brew, cooking, or diving into history podcasts and true crime rabbit holes. And yes, I’ll probably leave you with at least one cat story by the end of your visit.

Outside the salon, I proudly serve as an educator for Keune Hair Cosmetics—a family-owned brand that’s been innovating in haircare for over 100 years (and the founder’s great-great-grandson still runs the company). Through Keune, I’ve deepened my craft in blonding, coloring, and cutting, while also learning the art of teaching adult learners, building community, and elevating services that put hair health first. Their commitment to sustainability and people-first philosophy is exactly why Keune is in alignment with Glamourkittensss.
Smack dab between Millennial and Gen Z, my love language is memes, and sarcasm is usually how I cope when life feels heavy. Our planet is struggling, and I want to give it a hand. That’s why in my suite you’ll see Boxed Water, recycling bins, and a preference for digital over paper whenever possible. It’s also why I feel so connected to Keune—beyond great hair, they’re a certified B Corp working toward real sustainability goals, which fits perfectly with what Glamourkittensss is all about.
